Its a BEAUTIFUL dress. I've bought from Etsy before and always been satisfied. Of course, I've never purchased anything like a wedding dress on the site before. My only concern is that the price almost seems too low, so I'd be worried the actual dress may be the same quality as the dress in the picture. My Dress Is Scrunched Where the Laces Are? HELP!?
That's why corsets have boning. They stiffen the fabric so it does not pucker at the laces area. You could take some thick pellon (a somewhat stiff lining fabric) and add it to the back of the area where the holes for the laces are.
It may keep the thinner decorative fabric from puckering. You want the pellon to have holes for the laces just like the dress fabric and extend almost to the edge so it takes the stress when you tighten the laces. Good luck!
